Review: First Sunday

Man its a rare occasion that your boy gets to go the movies these days, mainly because Im too tired,( dont think Im important or nothing, lol...)plus I hate going to the movies when something first comes out, cause parents straight drop theyre 11 year olds dolo for the 10:00 show these days. If I gotta skunk eye one more little kid for kicking my damn seat....lemme calm down...

Anyway I got a chance to go see pretty much two of my favorite comedians, Tracy Morgan, and Katt Williams in First Sunday this weekend, and man that ish was funny. When it came on, it puts you in the right mood because theyre banging my favorite Gospel joint right now "Presence of the Lord, by Byrobn Cage, early in the movie. Without giving you any of the movie because I hate that, Ill tell you its much funnier than the trailer, granted I laugh at anything, but this is MY review, if u dont agree eat one, lol. The surprise was the fact that they pulled off what I call the movie trifecta...you laugh uncontrollably at times, cut to my girl in tears laughing her loud amd boisterous laugh that makes everybody laugh around her....(I love that), lol...you wanna tear up every once and a while, (YOU DONT) but you want to...hell Im a soldier...:)...and lastly, you get that tingly feeling at the end, so Im gonna call this...MY feel good movie of the year , so far.....Go SEE First Sunday....and Id post the link to Presence of the lord, but I think God may get me for that, Im not sure of his copyright laws, but check it out, gets going every morning.

99 Problems!

"The issue of Hip Hop music and lyrics have also surfaced in this campaign, with Obama's camp coming under fire for the use of a Jay-Z song.
During Obama's victory party in Iowa, Jay's "99 Problems" was played over the loud speaker. Some imply that the line "99 problems but a bitch ain't one" was a thinly veiled shot at his political rival.
The Clinton camp says they "didn't know" Obama used the song and Obama says he is a fan of rap music, dismissing the notion that the song selection was aimed at his political rival."

This is just another hilarious reason to vote for Barack. I personally dont think "HE" did this, but he employs a funny ass dude, who snuck this one in on em, and for that I say, Hell yeah!

That is some funny, gangsta stuff to do. You know how funny that is. I want to know who is the rat bastard who told the folks at Hillary's camp that was the songs lyrics. It was probably Bill. He probably got that on his Myspace page, lol.

Hillary is on my bad side right now. So Im ridin with you Obama.

Common Rumored to Star in Justice League Movie

80's babies stand up! There is a Justice League movie slated to start production soon and the Cast is rounding out. http://imdb.com/title/tt0974015/ My inner geek is loving this. If you wasnt watching The Justice League eatin' cereal with a big spoon in the 80's, disregard this. Common is slated to play The Green Lantern which is off the hook cause bakck in the day they kinda never payed attention to the fact that green lantern was supposed to be black.

Anyway, keep this in mind, cause IM GOIN!

Lord Give Me A Sign!

According to MTV News DMX will be recording a Gospel rap album

"A double album will make mutha----as mad, because they gotta spend more money — plus it's already a long [double] album. I'm talking about a hip-hop album and a gospel album."Combined, the project will be called Walk With Me Now and You'll Fly With Me Later."The same title is gonna be on both albums, but on one album one part [of the title] is gonna be [highlighted]," he clarified, and on "the other album, the other name is gonna be [highlighted]."The Walk With Me Now portion will be dedicated to straight-up, raw raps, while the latter will feature his non-secular undertaking. As for the gospel album, X noted that the lyrics will be "without cursing — how 'bout that one? No songs about b----es, no songs about robbing, just straight 'Give God the glory.'

Umm Im not gonna hate on this dude for this one, but I will more than likely laugh at some point.

I hope Rebbum grabs the right cd to bring to Sunday School. The Usher board will not be pleased with that one.
